September 2019

Roof repairs

Repair works to the roof of the Main Building and some external buildings, keeping students and our spaces dry and safe.

Window replacement throughout Ashington Campus, ensuring our students have a healthy, happy and warm learning environment.

Student hub works begin

Redevelopment of our ground floor into an open planned reception and Student Hub. A safe, welcoming and supporting environment and reception area to meet and greet our students and guests.
November 2019

New entrance

Creating a new entrance to our campus including a surrounding fence, ensuring our students are safe and our guests are welcomed into our redeveloped college!

Window replacement

Window replacement throughout Ashington Campus, ensuring our students have a healthy, happy and warm learning environment.
December 2019

Learning Environments

Complete refurbishment of the learning environments on floors 1-3 of Ashington Main building.
December 2019

Skills hubs

We are leading with the development of skills in two of our region’s most important skills. We will be building industry training and simulation facilities for students studying computing, gaming and animation plus a health and care hub.
January 2020

Consolidation of estate

Consolidation of buildings on the Ashington Campus, removing or repurposing unused spaces.
