Education Partnership North East are one of the largest apprenticeship training providers in region. Each year we train in excess of 1,400 apprentices and our apprenticeship achievement rate is well about the national average at 73.4% (the National Benchmark is 60.5%).
We offer a wide range of apprenticeships tailored to suit employers across all sectors. So, whether you’re looking to recruit new talent into your business or looking to upskill your existing staff, our apprenticeship offer will be right for you.

Training apprentices can provide you with a skilled workforce for the future and can be much more cost-effective than hiring experienced staff.

Work placements offer an ideal way for employers to spot talented potential apprentices and employees.

By tailoring the training to your business needs, you can grow your own talent and fill a skills gap efficiently.

An apprentice is making a contribution to your workplace while they are learning and gaining skills on-the-job.
Looking to recruit an apprentice? We have a dedicated team to support you to recruit the right apprentice, all as part of the service we offer (there is no cost to employers). We can also promote your apprenticeship vacancies to our existing and former students. 97% of apprentices trained by the College remain in work once they have completed their apprenticeships.
We provide clear, unbiased guidance on apprenticeship funding. As a not-for-profit organisation, we’ll help you understand your options and how to fund your training.

If you employ an apprentice under the age of 19, you will qualify for the Government's £1000 Apprenticeship Employer Incentive Grant. You don't need to apply for this grant, the College will take care of this for you.

Apprenticeship Levy funding ranges from 95% - 100%, helping to fully support your apprenticeship training.

Apprenticeship funding can also be used to train your existing staff or recruit new staff with relevant experience or qualifications.

You can employ local talent and provide training opportunities while managing staffing costs and reinvesting in your business.
We wanted to share the brilliant success Roundel Manufacturing Limited has had hiring a Lean Manufacturing Apprentice, Will, through our apprenticeship scheme.
‘Since day one we could see Will had lots of potential…His work ethic has been exactly what we wanted, and he is a great communicator. He has been trusted running a 3.5 million pounds machine and has done a fantastic job.’
‘We have an ageing work force, so we wanted to bring in some new blood and fresh talent. We find with recruiting apprentices we can teach them the Roundel way. We have people that have been here a long time, and we hope they can pass down their skills and knowledge to our apprentices.’
- Head of HR Kerry Kirtley - Roundel Manufacturing Limited
