“Everyone at Education Partnership North East and our colleges are deeply saddened by the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and join the nation in offering our heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family.
“This Friday staff and students across our campuses will come together to pay our respects, to mourn her loss, to celebrate her extraordinary life of duty and selfless commitment, and to give our thanks for her long and happy reign.
“Following a period of silence and reflection, we will plant memorial trees as a focus for remembrance for all within our college communities.”
