Digital is one of the UK's most vibrant, productive and rapidly developing industries, with approximately 29,000 people now employed in IT and digital jobs.
In recent years the North East has developed a well-earned reputation for specialising in software development, gaming and design. Our sector specialists can help your organisation prosper.
Our extensive range of digital courses are delivered by experienced and dedicated staff and we have highly specialised, industry-standard facilities for animation, games design and VFX, which are rarely seen in a college setting.
We also help develop and enhance skills in Leadership & Management, Finance, Maths & English, and Human Resource Management
We work with NextGen, an organisation set up by government and the games, animation and VFX industries, to directly address skills gaps and shortages in these sectors. In addition, we were the first college in the UK to offer a Level 3 Esports qualification.
NextGen industry partners include Bluezoo, Microsoft, DNEG, Rebellion, Creative Assembly and Centroid.
