In a move to propel the region into a greener future, Sunderland College has partnered with NetZero Group to offer a Carbon Footprint & Sustainability Strategy Skills Bootcamp.

This 60-hour programme is poised to become a catalyst for change within local businesses, equipping employers with the tools they need to embrace sustainable growth.

The collaboration focuses on providing practical knowledge and insights, enabling organisations to develop and implement carbon footprint management and sustainability strategies.

Such vital skills are aligned with the increasing demands of legislation, competition, and the global trend toward environmentally responsible business practices.

The combined experience and commitment of Sunderland College, NetZero Group, and EPNE offers a unique platform for local employers. Iain Nixon, Vice Principal Partnerships and Commercial at Sunderland College, added: “We are incredibly proud to join forces with NetZero Group. By investing in the skills and knowledge offered in this Skills Bootcamp, we’re helping employers in our region to lead the way in sustainable practices.

“This is not only essential for the health of our planet but paramount in ensuring our local economy thrives in a green future.”
