Who is the Skills Bootcamp for?
This Skills Bootcamp is designed for individuals looking to retrain into a Healthcare Support Worker role and for unemployed individuals looking to gain employment in the healthcare sector, as a healthcare support worker.
What will the Skills Bootcamp cover?
The Skills Bootcamp will be delivered by Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, where learners will be supported to gain an understanding of working within a care setting. The programme content will provide an opportunity to learn new skills that are transferrable to the Healthcare Support Worker role as well as gaining an insight into roles, team working, professional development and how we ensure we are providing safe and high-quality care. This interactive and engaging programme will be delivered by subject experts to up-skill your knowledge, skills and behaviours required when working in healthcare. Upon completion of this programme, you will be offered a guaranteed interview for a role in healthcare.
How long will the course last?
The Bootcamp will last 12 weeks, attendance 1 day per week - 60 hours in total and commencing January 2025
