Our housing programme caters to housing professionals who are in or are aspiring to a supervisory or management role. These comprehensive courses provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in the housing sector and include:
EPNE will fund the Chartered Institute of Housing membership fee for students enrolled onto one of our housing qualification courses for the duration of their study which enables access to fantastic member benefits.
EPNE will be delivering a pilot programme in 2025 in collaboration with the Chartered Institute of Housing, other Further Education providers and local housing associations. Our pilots will enable housing professionals to meet regulatory requirements including the Competence & Conduct Standard introduced to respond to the Grenfell Inquiry findings and recommendations.
This new standard introduces a mandatory requirement for Senior Housing Managers and Senior Housing Executives to obtain Level 4 and Level 5 housing qualifications within a transition period (the current proposal is a two-year transition period effective from April 2025) to ensure professional standards across the housing sector. We are collaborating with our partners to design and implement our pilot programme combining student study with their ongoing practical work commitments.
Currently, applications for our housing courses are processed through employers. The pilot courses are expected to commence in January 2025.
