The qualification aims to provide learners’ with a comprehensive overview on the issues surrounding equality and diversity whilst developing knowledge of their organisation or the society they live in. Learners will explore issues of inequality, stereotyping and discrimination in society or employment whilst reviewing their own community or workplace. Knowledge will also be developed on the subject or rights and responsibilities along with raising awareness of the legislation that surrounds and supports equality and diversity.
You will be allocated your own study pack and have a personal tutor who you can contact throughout your studies. You will be required to work through a series of tasks and activities designed to reinforce the learning process and demonstrate your knowledge.(This qualification is also available on-line)
